     Karl Jacob (Charles) (Carolous) Krupp was also known as Carolus Krupp.3,2 Karl Jacob (Charles) (Carolous) Krupp was also known as Charles Krupp.4,5 He was baptized on 17 November 1780 at Kübelberg, Kusel, Rhein-Pfalz, Germany.6,2 He was born on 17 November 1780 at Kübelberg, Kusel, Rhein-Pfalz, Germany.6,2 He was a blacksmith at Kübelberg.7 He married Catharina Schabacher, daughter of Johann Petri (Peter) Schabacher and Margaret Catherine Moritz, on 2 June 1807 at Kübelberg, Kusel, Rhein-Pfalz, Germany.8,2 Karl Jacob (Charles) (Carolous) Krupp immigrated in 1833 to Thompson Township, Seneca, Ohio; "Charles and Catherine Krupp came from Bavaria with their family, in 1833, direct to Thompson Township, Anthony Krupp being one of their sons."
Voyage lasted 62 days, ending in New York. From there via Erie Canal to Buffalo NY, then via Lake Erie to Venice (Huron County), Ohio, then finally to Franks, Ohio.5,9 He was is listed in the 1850 census as a Blacksmith but is also listed as "Charles Krupp" in 1850 at Thompson Township, Seneca, Ohio.10 He died on 9 April 1857 at Franks, Thompson Township, Seneca, Ohio, USA, at age 76.11 He was buried in April 1857 at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery, Thompson Township, Seneca, Ohio.11
