Up June 4-5, 2011 Anchoring in Tilghman Creek Slideshow

It was a beautiful weekend to anchor. We first went to Marshy Creek below Kent Narrows Bridge but found nowhere to take Striper ashore. We moved on to Tilghman Creek and found a lovely little anchorage. We had a relaxing time and cool nights for sleeping. The highlight of the weekend was when Striper began unexpectedly barking on Sunday morning -- seems a potential stow-away swam from the shore and climbed up our anchor chain. Striper's never seen a squirrel up close and personal -- they're too fast for her at home -- not sure who was frightened more, the squirrel or Striper. The captain produced the boat pole, the squirrel did a high dive and swam away. Had he come aboard, it could have been ugly!! Glad I grabbed my camera and not the boat pole!!
